About me
I graduated from Oxford with a degree in Human Sciences in 2003 and worked in the development sector for a few years before setting up business as a freelance editor in 2006. I have since worked with a range of interesting and influential clients, mainly in the research and charity sectors (see experience). My strengths lie in communicating complex ideas in a clear, accessible style. I value the strong relationships I have built with repeat clients but also enjoy new challenges. Alongside my freelance work, I’ve held several voluntary roles including working with young people at a community arts centre in York, as a community panel member with Leeds Youth Offending Team and Selby Youth Offending Team and volunteering at Selby Arts Festival 2017. I live on a smallholding in Yorkshire with my partner, two young children and one old dog. For a full CV, please contact me. |
